Vista Bashing ? READ this NOW !
Below is a typical article over the year to reference from for the content of this post…. READ : You have ALL missed the point !!!
Vista Bashing Now Has Economic Teeth
By Ron Schenone
Just when you think that the Vista bashing is beginning to settle down, up pops more bad news for Microsoft and their controversial operating system. But this time it is not the like it – hate it consumers who are mouthing off. …
Just when you think that the Vista bashing is beginning to settle down, up pops more bad news for Microsoft and their controversial operating system. But this time it is not the like it – hate it consumers who are mouthing off. …
NOTES….. If you have been a veteran XP Owner then you have ‘been around the bend’ with all the negative environment and even including the ‘dark side of the internet’. It is hard to crunch comments even as this one, and to flood over their floods – but the whole free speech crap became the internet. What ever happened to libel suits ? Bill Gates and Microsoft could double their income daily for all the libelous suits they could press beyond a simple User’s negative comments about a simple ‘newbie’ apparent temporary negative experience usually simply due to beginner’s ignorance or “operator error” (we all said “oh that’s how you do it” after cursing the PC to high heavens no doubt at some point – Operator Error)…. I am talking about those ‘in the know’ who do know better and make defamatory and libelous statements about a product that are untrue and have hurt income. Payment like that happens probably every day of the week in Courts worldwide. So what gives ? Why doesn’t Microsoft pursue this ?
Well, as I said it is too difficult to crunch this in one email but of course the “Negative Publicity” here is never welcome as untrue and injurious to the average consumer. So this above article is towards the other side and it is all too true in the business end. Very simply, I have an XP full of software. I purchased my Vista. There is no way in the world to transfer those to Vista – they are simply not going to run. This is what does not got mentioned enough for the average consumer towards the basic idea that ‘forget it’, you are never going to be able to transfer all software and files to the new Vista machine. Of course there are ways and upgrades to do a lot of it. It is simpler to just start all over again. But the consumer knows this. If you don’t know, you find out quick that you have to read the “System Requirements” simply meaning what Operating Systems (XP, Vista, etc.) the software works on. You see a great software and go to purchase it and check the System Requirements and too bad – it is not Vista compatible. That is understood or found out quick. Of course the XP years began with the whole all too familiar “check for the XP Logo” on all software before purchasing or decision to install.
So the whole point of this post is about businesses and the IT departments going crazy over Vista’s innovations and compatibility issues therein and the bottom line is with the new Vista system intentionally designed to run kind of as a User set up on XP without Administrator privileges and is the whole UAC (User Account Control) idea basically. But Microsoft clearly said this is all quite intentional and the point was that virtually all softwares of consequence did need the Administrator account user to install and set up and use the product.
Now the disturbing observation is with all these online publications from respected Editors and Staff writers and on and on – don’t they realize that Microsoft OBVIOUSLY knew the release of Vista was never going to be able to be mass deployed in the business end without major reinvestment and even the endless wait for software vendors to release upgrades ? Then it goes that Microsoft knew that Vista was not going to sell like wildfire OBVIOUSLY because there was no way they could use it obviously. Then why did Microsoft create the product knowing it would not sell and while the dark side negative publicity had a field day screaming “Micro$oft, Micro$oft, Micro$oft” these money hungry bastards Micro$oft, Micro$oft, Micro$oft” ???
I think it’s pretty obvious and is the REAL best kept secret about Vista. It was the mercy and pity of Microsoft for the average consumer with statistics of at least 45 Billion dollars annually and up to 4 percent of the population lost in ID Theft becoming those “non persons” in the financial nightmare caused by cyber criminal crimeware that became known as “spyware”. These stats are just America and add the rest of the world’s victims online. In phisher emails alone in 2007, Americans got taken for 3.25 Billion and because we all know they were using Internet Explorer Version 6 SP2 or lesser – listening to these idiots of “negative publicity” in that debacle of their advice “Don’t install IE 7 with the new anti-phisher technologies because it slows down everything terribly bad”…. which was nothing further from the truth and would have saved consumers literally billions ! Other polls revealed at least over 45 to 50 percent of average users thought they were protected is using free version antivirus and antispyware programs and scanned maybe once a year even – with no real time protection activated by paid subscription.
So my whole intent of this post is that the best kept secret about Vista has become known to the cyber criminal underground – Vista stops them right out of the box and there is the other point to support my comments – Windows Defender antispyware created and made free by, uhm-uhmm – Micro$oft. These same negative publicity idiots scream about Microsoft being profit driven scum taking full advantage of the public and then — there you are in a security software multi billion dollar industry suddenly Microsoft creates and releases free to the public the now famous free Microsoft Windows Defender. Why do they decline the mega profit they could make by selling it ? Of course dark world will tell you because it’s a piece of crap and we all know the statistics released by the Microsoft Free Malicious Software Removal Tool and they forgot that all their in the wild threats from the past three “zero day” exploits (WMF metafile, VML, .ANI Cursor) were detected and don’t you A-Holes realize they became definitions removal signatures right in Windows Defender antispyware ? Right, open mouth insert foot. How about all the fake codecs malware threats ? Uh-huh, right in Windows Defender and see Smitfraud for another reference. Windows Defender has consistently been ahead of the industry even many times in new “in the wild threats” and see their online threats database Microsoft Malware Protection Center<http://wwwmicrosoft.com/security/portal/default.aspx> — if your threat is listed there as your funky little crimeware package you been trying to rip off the unknowing public then it is removed by “crap” like Windows Defender. Uh-huh.
So recap…. rants and raves about Vista runs nothing known to XP and businesses can’t afford everything shut down almost like a power failure in deploying Vista on the enterprise level and G-damn Vista and Micro$oft and on and on. So why did Microsoft release Vista KNOWING all this ? There you are. A “hail Mary” security product itself in reality being an actual computer disk operating system – serving, itself being an OS (Operating System), serving as a simple antispyware software for 30 dollars blocking crimeware. Why did Microsoft release Vista ? Why – who did it benefit beyond all the negative publicity ? The average consumer like me… the only people not having any problems with it at all as it performs wonderfully beyond expectations and IS the new latest “state of the art” computing experience. Don’t you think ?
We are the “I LOVE my NEW Vista crowd” and damned proud of our own intelligent informed choice to purchase !!! – and that protected. The first true out of the box safe PC ! Marvelous invention…. and you are ? who ? what ?

No, it is not a “common thing” among “computer techs” and here’s
why… pull it through if you can: (in other words you are referring
to unqualified “hacks” not computer tech support, but they are
helpful to the community in various ways obviously ):
SEE:
Hacker (hobbyist)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hacker_%28hobbyist%29
“In home computing, a hacker is a person who heavily modifies the
software or hardware of their computer system. It includes building,
rebuilding, modifying and creating software (software cracking, demo
scene) and electronic hardware (hardware hacking, modding) either to
make it better, faster, give added features or to make it do
something it was never intended to do. Hobby hacking originated
around the MITS Altair….”
Again you said “no – it is a common thing among computer techs to use
msconfig to stop softwares from the Start Up ” — And when you
rebooted Windows XP, the constant window will always appear “You have
chosen a Diagnostic Mode of Windows – Do You Wish To Continue? You
can reboot into Normal Mode…”….. along those lines. Which do
these common persons choose ? The diagnostics mode ? Heck of a way to
always start Windows having to check the box OK to Diagnostics Mode !
But you made a good point on the spiel I made about rogue technical
support personnel. Anyone with a computer jargon dictionary can be
a “Computer Technical” person or Assistant. Right. What are their
credentials ? Are they Microsoft Certified ?
Anyone who has ever hit the button to turn the computer on just
became a “Computer Technical Support” person – because they can
answer the technical question, “How do you start the computer to get
it to work ?”.
I personally have an electronics degree and operate an Oscilloscope
and Signal Generator (TV Repair) which is not much different at all
with any electrical device – be it a stereo radio system or a desktop
computer. This is the true meaning of “technical support”….
electronic repair of the technological device.
The “computer techs” are anyone giving help with the computer
technological terminology today (computer tech terms, computer
jargon) in too many places which has nothing to do with technological
repair – computer tech. When there is technological help with
troubleshooting the operating system and softwares – this also is
computer tech help and we end up again at what I just said. Are you a
programmer ? Are you Microsoft Certified ? What are your
qualifications as a “Computer Tech” ? I am not saying you at all –
just meaning anybody as general questions if you follow.
What I just posted are the Experts of Windows – Microsoft – clearly
on their website explaining you do not operate a Windows OS PC in
anything but Normal Mode. As well they clearly state you do not use
the Configuration Utility (MSCONFIG) as a software start up manager.
What did you miss ? Your response “no this is common” refers to pc
hacks – not QUALIFIED computer techs which requires a programming
degree. Do you mean the “computer techs” who have graduated the same
school I did – ‘the College of Hard Knocks’ ? Then I guess I could
call myself an Exchequer of IT Security if that applies, since I have
discovery in the security software industry. How embarrassing don’t
you think ?
This is the whole point of what I mentioned about rogue computer
techs meaning how can they say they are Microsoft Certified if
Microsoft says you do not do what you actually did just say
about “computer techs doing this for years”…. EXACTLY the point –
they are not Computer Technical persons at all – they are “HACKERS”
and the general term for that is a resident of the euphuism slang
meaning of “hackers lounge” – not the legitimate one.
Your comment answers the question, “What is a hacker” very well….
SEE:
Hacker (hobbyist)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hacker_%28hobbyist%29
“In home computing, a hacker is a person who heavily modifies the
software or hardware of their computer system. It includes building,

So my whole point is that you replied to my answer and called it
wrong. This demands a chance to respond. If you had answered this
string with your opinions to the person’s original question or
mention that though there were certain answers about such and such
but I consider that incorrect – well that was another story and you
didn’t. You replied to my response kind of “out of cycle”.
So if I may ask on behalf of a correct answer then – since you stated
mine was not – what are your qualifications to answer as you did ?
And what about when you make changes in the System Configuration
Utility that the Diagnostic Mode window keeps appearing in EVERY
start up of Windows changing it the way you said this ….
<<>>
You implied ALL computer techs do this for over 8 years now. I can
show you picture after picture, movie after movie, that indeed you
will have to give the OK to the Windows System to start up as you
mention. I find this hard to believe that millions upon millions upon
millions of users are doing that – let alone all computer techs.
Little bit aggravating don’t you think ?
My previous replies did not imply I was saying anyone was wrong per
se, but that Microsoft was saying they were wrong. The nasty hackers
lounge calls this “parroting” – a parrot repeating what they heard.
Like they have been told – I am not a “parrot” as I am a degreed
computer person (Data Processor) and I have discovery in the
antispyware software industry. I have 4 programmers in my family that
declined invention and trademark rights to the discovery which was
acclamated. Parrots don’t do that…. like they say, they don;t know
how.
Is all this over kill ? You bet. Just trying to help one person not
make injurious decisions for their PC. I love and respect computers,
and now the disk computer system. This is something hacks lack – a
love for the computer system and respect for it. The euphoric high to
a means end from hand is their reward. Esterics.
